Hello and welcome to HeavenlyYorkies.com. My name is Therese Hernandez and I would like you to take a click around and see my gorgeous puppies. I have been raising these bundles of joy for nearly 18 years, so you're sure to get the very best. My obligation does not stop when you buy one of our puppies. I will be here for as long as you need me, so if you have a problem down the road maybe I will be of some help. I will be here 24 hours a day. There will be lots of things you may not be sure of, just call or e-mail me and we will get through this together.
Heavenly Yorkies was established in 1987 by me, Therese Hernandez and my Husband Castro Hernandez. Our puppies are sold by size: "teacups" weigh from 3 to 4 pounds and "tiny teacups" weigh from 2 to 3 pounds when full grown. Our puppies have baby doll faces, short compact bodies, attractive coats, great personalities, and an overall healthy well-being. Over 17 years have been devoted to creating our bloodlines.
Yorkies can be very stubborn but don't let them get the upper-hand. You have to be very firm with them and let them know right off who's the boss. I have made many long-lasting friends over the years. People locally call me "The Yorkie Lady". I believe that when you own a Yorkie you have the Cadillac of pets.
Yorkies demand a lot of attention and affection. If you do not want that, then a Yorkie is not for you.
I hand-raise all of my puppies. My home is usually full of puppies, all running around and playing. But, when playtime is over, they all have their playpens to sleep in. That is for the safety and protection of them and you. Yorkies are very inquisitive and love to investigate everything. So for their protection they need a place where they can be safe. After all you can't watch them every minute of every single day. I suggest a baby playpen (mesh) you can find them at discount stores such as Wal-Mart and K-Mart, or even at garage sales, rummage sales, or flea markets.
All of my puppies are AKC Registered. When you purchase my pup, he or she will have their registration papers that you will need to fill in the blanks and send in to AKC. Also they will have a health certificate from our veterinarian. But when you receive him or her it is good practice to have your veterinarian check the pup. If, for some reason, your pup has a problem we can exchange or refund. Sometimes long plane rides can make the pups scared or cause motion sickness. This should be expected. After all they are just babies.
